Returns & Refunds

All our courses are services that require time from us, to prepare our facility, for your training. This means that if you buy a course or package deal, there is no refunds possible. Before you purchase any course or package deal, we ask you to read and understand the requirements for each course as this is your responsibility. Example 1: If you buy an Open Water Course but can not swim, we can not issue you a refund. Example 2: If you buy an Extended Range Course but FAIL the In-Water Fitness Evaluation, you can redo the evaluation as many times as you want, but we will not issue you a refund.

On physical products we have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To process a return, you can contact us. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products, special orders and personalized items. Under no circumstances can courses or package deals on courses be refunded. Course bought are final. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item or course.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

The Dive Academy is an authorized SSI Training Center and we only work with active SSI Instructors that have work agreements in writing. Please check here for expelled instructors. We do not do any business with them. For more information please Contact Us.

Some of our product are eligible for product registration to enhance your warranty. Please follow the manufacturer's guidelines on how to do so.  Please register your product to confirm original ownership and ensure quick and easy service in the future.

The Dive Academy warrants to the original purchaser for a period of 1 (one) year for each product, from the date of purchase that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, provided that it receives normal (private, non commercial) use, proper care and maintenance. The limited warranty is extended only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement only at the discretion of Diving Essentials.

IMPORTANT: Warranty coverage does not extend to damages caused by improper use, improper maintenance, neglect, unauthorized repairs, modifications, accidents, fire, casualty, normal wear and aging. Cosmetic damage(s), such as scratches, nicks and fraying are not covered under warranty except when the product is new, out of the original packaging. This warranty does not extend to equipment used for commercial or military purposes.

If you are the original owner of a Fourth Element, SUEX or DIRZONE product/s that is determined to be defective in any way, please return it to the local dealer you purchased the goods from. Please follow their policy.

Mouse Media FZE / The Dive Academy will not notify its customer of ‘Safety Recalls’; hence, this is why it is essential that the customer registers their product on the respective manufacturers website.
